Industrial Corridor between Hyderabad and Warangal

KCR further explained about his government’s plan to make Warangal, the second biggest city in Telangana, an industrial hub. He said an industrial corridor would be built from Hyderabad to Warangal. Besides an airport, alternative road would be constructed to reduce travel time between Hyderabad and Warangal to 70 minutes. He added a textile park on the lines of the famous Tirupur Park in Tamil Nadu is being planned in 2,000 acres land.

The Chief Minister directed the industry department to study the industrial policy being implemented in Singapore, which yielded amazing results boosting the industrial sector there.

He directed Telangana State Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) to maintain data of all available government lands useful for industrial purposes besides acquiring non-agricultural lands in 10 districts.

KCR also directed officials to convene a meeting in the next few days with industry heads from FICCI, CII and other bodies to take their inputs on industrial policy.Singapore type industrial model to be studied
